Stanley Park Causeway

Vancouver, British Columbia

Up to two hour traffic delays on Georgia Street going to North and West Vancouver. Targetting luxury vehicles and their drivers.

This British Columbia roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in December 2011.

Terminal Ave and Clark Dr, Eastbound

Vancouver, British Columbia

Leaving downtown after a party, and got stopped here at almost 4am. Traveling eastbound on terminal, you get to a bridge that you can't see over. Once you mount that slope you'll be greeted by the cops before the intersection of Clark. No where to run. Avoid terminal if leaving downtown. Asked for license, questions on how many drinks consumed, and also a breath test.

This British Columbia roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in November 2011.

E 41st Ave. Memorial South Park

Vancouver, British Columbia

A favorite location on E41st between Fraser St. and Knight St. in front of Memorial South Park. This location has little visibility because of the hills on both ends of the park. There are many other roads on the street with an equal amount of "chase cars" ready at every point.

This British Columbia roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in October 2011.

University Blvd.

Vancouver, British Columbia

UBC RCMP stopping all people to and from campus, most likely for late night drunk students returning or leaving from parties. Been stopped quite often. They are usually pleasant, just asking where you've been, alcohol, drug usage, etc.. Also looking for young drivers driving without their full license (L drivers on their own, etc). Not a problem, just be aware.

This British Columbia roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in June 2010.
