Hwy 96 at the S end of the Trinity River Bridge

Hoopa, California

Military personnel manning what appears to be a pinch point or future checkpoint on a state highway on an Indian Reservation. Supposedly it's to "Assist" in traffic control for a project requiring occasional truck traffic in the vicinity. It looks a lot more like desensitization to me.

This California roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in November 2007.
