Hwy 26 (2nd St) before train overpass

Cochran, Georgia

Two common roadblock sites in Cochran/Bleckley county: before overpass and about 200 yds from the downtown area when headed out of Cochran. My driveway is about 50 feet from the site of roadblock. I pulled in and was bum-rushed by a police car. Officer came to door and asked if it was my house, questioned further, then returned to road block .

This Georgia roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in February 2004.
