Fort Weaver Road just passed abandoned rail line

4 cars in front of me sailed right through and I was stopped. Asked for license, insurance and registration. Once he looked at all of them he gave them back and said thanks and I was on my way. Took about 3 minutes. 3 more vehicles stopped as I was pulling out.

Kamehameha Hwy under the Freeway near Electro's

Pearl City, Hawaii

This road block is common on the weekends, but i'm not sure if its every weekend. it's located on kamehameha hwy in pearl city right next to electro's strip bar, under the freeway. i've only seen it on the waipahu bound side of the highway, but they could have it going aiea bound too.

Waikiki near Seaside / Lewers & Ala Wai / Kuhio

For at least three weeks starting August 1st 2009 cops have been in Waikiki waving people over for "seatbelt checks" last night there was a full-scale sobriety check point in the same area. Cops working with MADD have announced more road blocks in Ala Moana area through Labor Day.

Hilo, Hawaii

They have roadblocks in Hawaii all the time. Seems no one remembers the constitution anymore.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

This town's economy is based on tourism, so most of the people getting tickets are visitors. This makes it mostly impossible for these people to fight the ticket; they pay the fine. This is a major money maker for Hawaii.

Queen Kaahumanu Hwy / Hina Lani Street

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

People being pulled over are turning left onto Hina Lani Street. This is a "seat belt" check point. Any officer hides by a bush on the side of Queen K Hwy and radios officers ahead as to which cars have occupants not wearing seatbelts and to pull them over.
