Main St. north of Pair-a-Dice Casino

East Peoria, Illinois

Coming out of East Peoria Headed North on Illinois Rt 116 (Main St at this point) It is located at the next light past the casino and is hard to see until past the point of no return. Ususally the North bound lane is blocked. Conducted by Illinois State Troopers

This Illinois roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in July 2011.

South Main Street (Headed toward Creve Coeur)

East Peoria, Illinois

The roadblock is just south of Downtown on Main St headed toward Pekin/Creve Coeur. It is conducted just past a rise where traffic cannot see it until they are upon it. (it's location blocks traffic coming from greater Peoria toward the local 'Gentleman's Club') The block is normally conducted by East Peoria Police with State Troopers present.
