On November 15, 2011 there was a live officer seatbelt check station. I confronted the officers, who then made snide remarks, about revenue generation and civil liberties etc. They stated that there were several such stations in place in the city of Park Ridge at the time. When I informed them that it was my duty to warn drivers of the trap, they quickly threatened to jail me for obstruction of justice.
This Illinois roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in November 2011.
