On Friday June 6, 2008 a roadblock was set up in the Hobo parking lot (near/attached) to the White Castle. I was stopped around 1 am. All the cars were seemingly stopped. There were many, many police present and they had several "lanes" set up with about a dozen officers per lane. I was asked for license, registration, and proof of insurance. Then asked what I was doing, where I was going, and why I was out. I was then given a "field test" of following an officer's finger while a flashlight was shone in my eyes. There were other officers surrounding the car shining lights into the car through the windows. They let me go, It was frightening.
This Illinois roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in June 2008.
