On November 15, 2011 there was a live officer seatbelt check station. I confronted the officers, who then made snide remarks, about revenue generation and civil liberties etc. They stated that there were several such stations in place in the city of Park Ridge at the time. When I informed them that it was my duty to warn drivers of the trap, they quickly threatened to jail me for obstruction of justice.

This is simply a warning that this is a usual stop during holiday times for a usual roadblock. It is right off the corner of Rt 30 and Rt 34. There is typicaly no area for a turn around once you travel past the intersection going North so avoid by watching for police lights and advanced warning signs.

On the evening of October 13th, several State of Illinois Police and Cook County Sheriff Police were direction people into a large parking lot near the Argo Cornstarch Factory. They were lining cars up and checking for Drivers' License and Proof of Insurance compliance
