Wooster police, OSU campus police, State Patrol and Wayne County Sheriff cooperate on these roadblocks to "educate" the public about drunk driving and to let them know "they are always on the lookout". This forced detention and reeducation reminds me of North Korea, not the US. According to the paper, during the last 8 pm-midnight roadblock, police stopped (illegally) 229 vehicles, searched (illegally) 29 of them and arrested one person for impaired driving.
This Ohio roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in August 2007.
