These roadblocks are financed by a grant from the state. They are multi-jurisdictional with six communities contributing officers for the road blocks. Protests have been lodged to the Township Supervisors that these so called "safety checks" have nothing to do with safety. They are for conditioning. Getting people use to being stopped by uniformed officers asking for "papers please". These protests have fallen on deaf ears. We are now actively running for office to remove these supervisors.
This Pennsylvania roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in January 2003.
