Portsmith, Virginia

Police will be conducting a checkpoint. The checkpointwill be in the northbound 1800 and 1900 blocks of Cavalier, said Detective Jan Westerbeck, police spokeswoman. The Strategic Traffic Unit and other police officers will be checking for licenses and registrations, Westerbeck said.

This Virginia roadblock was added to the Roadblock Registry in March 2009.
