is often a route taken by persons leaving clubs in Huntsville after
2:00 a.m. It was around 2:30 on a Saturday night when I encountered
this roadblock. The Morgan County deputy was very nice and respectful
and checked my license, tag and insurance registration. However,
I assume they were looking for persons DUI, which I am sure they
have a lot to deal with on this road at this time of night. Of course,
my car was in top shape, all my paperwork was in order, I wasn't
speeding, and I was respectful...but their attitude might have been
different otherwise. I don't know how frequently they have this
roadblock...I have never encountered it before.. |
