The officer who checked my ID in passing was distracted by the car containing several black people as it approached the officer stopping cars coming in the opposite direction. They did not answer to any ?'s and were not given a field sobriety or breath test. Drugs mysteriously found on the floorboard. They stated that others were in jail for turning before the stop. Additional information about this roadblock or notes on roadblock encounter:
while driving home from a late movie, the roadblock in question was exactly one street up from the road i live off of, and once i turned on the street i had a helicoptor follow me 2 blocks to my house, once i had parked and was walking towards my driveway, two police cars quickly pulled up and told my roommate and myself to put our hands in the air. They then made us put our hands on the hood of their car, while they asked us if we were drinking, had drugs, or weapons on us. I turned around to tell the officer we lived here, the officer then shoved me and told me to keep my hands on the car. The insurance sticker for 07 had fallen off of my vehicle, when i told the officers that they acted as if i couldn't be telling the truth, and one of the officers snidely informed me that it would be a citation (or an excuse to harass us further). Once running the license plate information, the officer then realized i was actually telling the truth about the insurance and had no reason to keep us after being embarassed about the reality of the situation. Before letting us go, one of the officers asked us if we had anything we wanted to tell them now, so they might go easy on us later. Two white boys driving into a black neighborhood at late at night, seems like profiling to me.

Additional information about this roadblock or notes on roadblock encounter:
This is a favorite of Atlanta Police, this should have already been reported. This stop is designed to harass the Buckhead crowd when returning to the inner-town regions (Midtown/Downtown). It would be a better idea to stick to Peachtree St or the Atlanta transit system (MARTA) on weekends if you've been drinking. Fulton County/Atlanta Police will hit you hard if you get caught, no matter how arbitrary the BAL. I've known friends who were sacked for 0.05s

This Road block is set up almost on a weekly basis. Especially during the summer months. I personally have been told to pull off to the side because my eyes were red at least 10 times. (By the way I don't smoke weed) Pollen season mostly. When informing officers about this fact they told me to be quiet or they will find a ticket to write. They stop ALL vehicles, typically 2-3 cop cars are there. One car always is ready to chase. If you take to long to find licence or anything they ask for, you will be directed to the side. Mostly GSP and maybe every now and then a Hall county will be there. Its always the same GSP cop. He looks like he's 16 years old and weighs about 120. He always asks about alcohol. You will know its him because his hat looks like a UFO landed on his head.

This is definitly the sneakiest road block I've ever expeirienced. First you go down about a 3/4 of a mile strech that is not well lit. I came down a hill then immediately after I turn the corner there are blue lights flashing every where. So I slow down to about less than 5 miles per hour and try to slowly pass thru. One cop yell at me to stop my vehicle. So after I stop he walks up to my vehicle and realizes I have my high beams on only because he sees my blue dash light on the instrument panel. So he makes me park in an parking lot. Consistently persist on searching my vehicle for over 20 minutes but I continue to resist. After that he some how figures that I'm drunk. Wasted another 20 min of my time doin a field sobriety test. After all of that he writes me three tickets. One for not dimming my high beams, another for having baled rear tires, and then one for noise polution because my exhaust is to loud. Cobb county sucks! CountOnBeingBusted!
