| This
roadblock is set up on NM HWY 404, commonly called "The Gap" as
it is the road between the gap of two mountain ranges. This roadblock
is set up around 9pm and checks vehicles travleing in both directions
mainly for alcohol related offenses. Also, you cannot see the roadblock
until after you round a turn and head downhill, where it is two
late. |

at sundown during the summer. The blocks are conducted as a joint
operation between Farmington, Bloomfield, Aztec Police, State Police
and County. The blocks are set up where you can't see them until
you've come around the curve in the road. |
