Marietta, Georgia Roadblocks

The exit ramp is really dark, and it’s impossible to turn around once you are on the ramp. You go around a big curve and there are about 20 police cars on both sides of the road. I didn’t get stopped because I got there before they started stopping cars so I don’t know what kinds of questions they were asking. This happened around 10:30 pm on 9/13/2012.

Road block was around a double blind curve about halfway between Guffin Ln. and Bells Ferry Rd. on a Friday night at about 9 PM. Police were checking IDs and valid insurance.

At least forty to fifty cops. Cobb County and GA Highway Patrol. Enough on each side to make sure no one turns around without being pulled over and enough in the middle to stop everyone and ask for license and to check their plate. Also had numerous vans in the middle lane ready for people to be put into them.

There is a bridge over a railroad & you don’t see them till your on the bridge & have no choice to turn around instead. There are different levels of law enforcement present. City, Georgia State Patrol & rookies. Be aware of the different uniforms & colors. They assume, play games of intimidation, make up stuff as they go thru sobriety tests, make you blow into the machine several times to get the results they need to take you straight to jail. They will lie on the stand in court as well as to who made inital contact upon the stop & who performed the roadside tests & about the "eye movement", since the dash cam videos can’t capture the truth. They break the law in the meantime by posting the road block blocking a fire hydrant.

Cobb County GA police are everywhere setting these up.
