Despite the law requiring specific public notice of a checkpoint, the Williamson County Sheriff does not announce a specific location, date, or time. It will be a very vague announcement simply stating they will be doing checkpoints from Fri-Mon. This is done for the extended weekends of July 4th, New Years, Super Bowl, and BCS championship.
